About Us

The FNC is an association of nunchaku enthusiasts throughout the Philippines, the group originated from an international nunchaku community the Freestyle Nunchaku Forum (FNF), Filipino members of the FNF are Howard Lee, Argyl Manhuyod, Risty John Ababa, Marcos Peru, Marlon Bangkil in the year 2013,

in the same year, the members chose the name of the group and one of the following was chosen

Event

the FNC event is called Collaboration Video. members do this every year, as a unity of nunchaku enthusiasts throughout the Philippines, the original creator of this event is Risty John Ababa in 2016. each member will make a 30 seconds duration landscape video and all entries will be combined,

History

Although the community was officially founded year 2013 by Filipino member of international nunchaku community the freestyleforum.net member are Howard Lee (Administrator of freestyleforum.net), Marlon Bangkil (Moderator of freestyleforum.net), on 2016 the community create a yearly event thy called “Collaboration Video” the mechanic of this event, all member need to create a landscape recorded video and 30 seconds duration. In the year 2018 Marlon Bangkil one of the founder of Filipino Nunchaku Community created a first website of the FNC with domain name pinoynunchaku.com and change it to filipinonunchaku.com a current domain name on October 24, 2019.

Logo Design And Symbol Meaning

The FNC logo are designed by Howard Lee in 2016, the color of the nunchaku are reference by the Philippines flag the Right handle is Red and Left handle are Blue, and adding the 3-star symbol or Luzon, Visaya, Mindanao. on 2021 Marlon Bangkil re-design the logo adding the year of 2016 as a symbol of the first collaboration video (FNC Event). and now the current FNC adding 2013. the year when FNC was created
